Inauguration Ceremony of MSc in Energy for Circular Economy

Inauguration Ceremony held on 30th March 2023 at BMICH marked the commencement of the first intake of MSc in Energy for Circular Economy, the joint program offered by four universities; Open University of Sri Lanka, University of Peradeniya, University of Ruhuna, and University of Moratuwa, in collaboration with KTH Sweden, Centrale Supelec, France and University of Twente, Netherlands. The program is the main outcome of Erasmus+ Capacity Building project EUSL Energy.

Visit of Delegates from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Pakistan (LUMS)

The University of Moratuwa Convocation for External Degrees – 2022 Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) External Degree

The 08th convocation for the graduates of the Bachelor of Information Technology – External (BIT) programme  will be held on Monday, 30th January 2023 from 2.00 p.m. onwards at the Rubert Peiris Building of the University of Moratuwa.

The Chancellor of the University, Vidya Jyothi Professor Emeritus K.K.Y.W. Perera, will preside the Ceremony where 90 graduands will be conferred degrees.

Jayath Perera becomes Sri Lanka Champion and Southern Asia Region Runner Up in IMechE SOFE Competition 2022

Team CircuitBreakers of ENTC Wins the IEEE Region 10 Robotics Competition

The Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Moratuwa is proud to announce the success of Team CircuitBreakers at the IEEE Region 10 Robotics Competition. The competition, which was held on 17 and 18 December 2022 at the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, focused on the theme of “Robotics for Healthcare.”
