External Examiners Visitation to the Department of Building Economics 2018

The Department of Building Economics has successfully completed the annual external examiners visitation 2018 for both BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and BSc (Hons) in Facilities Management degree programmes on 04th and 05th April 2018 at Mt. Lavinia Hotel. The external examination panel consists of following members from both academia and industry:

• Prof. Andrew Ross - Professor in Construction Project Management, Subject Head: Surveying 
  Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom
• Ch. QS Shantha Fernando - Partner, Woodbridge Consultants
• Ch. QS Elmo Fernando - General Manager - Projects, Hevelock City Project

The panel had conducted extensive discussions with the University Senior Management Team, Department Administration, all in-house academic staff and students. The panel reviewed all documents including student assessments.
