Natural Language Processing is an essential application of computer science which enhances communication in our day-to-day life. Especially, having two rich national languages, we Sri Lankan research community should engage in more research and development work related to NLP. The Symposium on Natural Language Processing, SNLP, aims to foster the NLP based research work in Sri Lanka. The symposium will facilitate NLP researches and language enthusiasts, by providing a knowledge-rich environment where participants can share and discuss their research and ideas.
SNLP2019 will be held on 22nd & 23rd March 2019 at University of Moratuwa. The symposium consists of key-note speeches by international experts in NLP, presentations from participants and open discussions.
