Following the success of the iNCOTeM2016, Department of Management of Technology, University of Moratuwa proudly announces the International Conference in Technology Management (iNCOTeM) 2018 which is scheduled to be held in 10th January 2018 in Colombo, Sri Lanka for the second time under the theme “Role of Business Technology in Knowledge Driven Economies”.
iNCOTeM 2018 will provide a platform for both local and international researchers and industry experts in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship to share their knowledge, experiences, perspectives and insights under the above theme.

Message from the Conference Chair
Dr. Indrajanaka Mahakalanda is a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Business, University of Moratuwa. He obtained his PhD (Management Science) from University of Canterbury, New Zealand in 2017. He received his Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and Bachelor of Science of Engineering from the same University. He has published research articles in reputed journals and conferences in the areas of Water and Electricity Market Design, and Optimization. Further he received Professional Postgraduate Diploma from Chartered Institute of Marketing (United Kingdom). He was also the recipient of University of Canterbury Doctoral Scholarship in 2012 and he guided the University of Moratuwa team to win the Silver medal at the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2009, Singapore. He has a diverse set of experience in industry as a practitioner.
About the Key Note Speaker
Dr. Noor Azizi Ismail is a Professor in Accounting Information Systems. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Masters Degree in Accounting (Information Systems) from University of Memphis, USA and PhD in Accounting Information Systems from Loughborough University, UK. Professionally, he is a Certified Management Accountant.
Dr. Noor Azizi Ismail is a Professor in Accounting Information Systems. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a Masters Degree in Accounting (Information Systems) from University of Memphis, USA and PhD in Accounting Information Systems from Loughborough University, UK. Professionally, he is a Certified Management Accountant.
Currently, Dr. Azizi is the Deputy Director General of Higher Education (IPTA) at the Ministry of Higher Education. Prior to the recent appointment, he was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Universiti Utara Malaysia, Dean of Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business, UUM, and Dean for Research and Innovation, College of Business, UUM.
He has engaged in more than 30 research projects, published more than 100 articles in academic related publications, authored/co-authored six books and monographs and also a member of editorial/reviewer board of several reputable journals and invited keynote speaker at various prestigious events. His main research interests are in Accounting Information Systems and Small Business, Enterprise Wide Systems, and Information Technology Governance.
