About our EDUROAM Policy

Currently the legal, policy, and technical infrastructure for the national eduroam service is still being developed. University of Moratuwa has chosen to participate in this development and to be an early adopter of eduroam as a service to our faculty and staff and aspects of this service and policy may change over time.

Access

Access to the University of Moratuwa instance of eduroam is a privilege and not a right . It may be revoked at anytime at the discretion of director, CITeS.

Access to the eduroam SSID will be granted to any user of an academic institution participating in the eduroam consortium. For a list of participating institutions, visit eduroam-Sri Lanka and eduroam-International.

UoM faculty and staff are obligated to adhere to the Appropriate Use Policy of both the UoM and that of the visited institution. Users are obligated to familiarize themselves with the equivalent AUP of any institution they visit.

Visitors to the University of Moratuwa are obligated to adhere to the Appropriate Use Policy of both UoM and that of their home institution.
