BUILDING ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT RESEARCH UNIT(BEMRU)
Building Economics and Management Research Unit (BEMRU) is the research arm of Department of Building Economics. The research strategies of BEMRU are as follows:
- Promote research activities in the department
- Encourage research led teaching
- Attract PhD, MPhil and MSc by Research candidates
- Nurture, facilitate and promote staff and student research publications
- Organise annual conferences and symposiums
- Foster research culture through monthly research colloquium
- Establish research collaborations with local and international partners
- Undertake national, international and multi-disciplinary research projects
- Allocate time, space and other facilities to support research activities
